Wittmann Battenfeld and SKZ Wurzburg make further cooperation

The SKZ Süddeutsches Kunststoff-Zentrum (South German Plastics Center) recently received another injection molding machine from Wittmann Battenfeld.

SKZ is well known throughout the German-speaking region as an important contact point for plastics processors in matters relating to research and development, basic and advanced training, as well as product testing and certification.

The 2,000 meters square technical lab of this German plastics center is now equipped with a total of four injection molding machines from Wittmann Battenfeld, supplemented by latest automation and mold temperature control technology from Wittmann. Ultra-modern machinery, equipment and appliances are available to SKZ customers for test runs and training courses in the institute’s new research and development lab at Friedrich-Bergius-Ring in Wurzburg, Germany.

Wittmann Battenfeld and SKZ have cooperated closely for several decades in the area of basic and advanced training. With the new machine, Wittmann Battenfeld is supporting the SKZ institute with latest technology for training and research.

With its injection molding and automation expertise placed at the disposal of SKZ Wurzburg, Wittmann Battenfeld has strengthened its presence in Southern Germany.

Quickly and without having to cover great distances, interested processors can test the advantages of the new HM machines equipped with the Unilog B6 control system, including latest-generation Wittmann robots and temperature control devices.
