September 17, 2012 – Today at the Rio Oil & Gas Conference & Expo, Victrex Polymer Solutions, a division of Victrex plc, announced its appointment of Nova Petrene, based in Sao Paulo, as its exclusive distributor to expand and grow its current VICTREX® PEEK polymer business. Nova Petrene is strategically positioned to cover the entire region of Brazil and has been highly successful in distributing specialty chemicals and polymers such as polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) and polyethylene (PE) for other global companies.
The company’s core competencies include new application development, dedicated customer service, efficient logistics, and providing high quality products in this strategic growth region for Victrex. “Our new relationship with Victrex has brought a great synergy to the market segments already supported by Nova Petrene,” said Cassiano Passos, General Manager at Nova Petrene. “Our customers can count on our local presence to add value and simplify their supply chain, as well as speed up the development of projects that lend themselves to high performance materials like VICTREX PEEK.”
