Venture Plastics, Inc. –a full-service, ISO/TS-16949 certified custom thermoplastic injection molder with processing facilities in Newton Falls, Ohio and El Paso, Texas – has again added large tonnage capacity to support growth at its Southwest Venture Plastics facility in El Paso.
Southwest Venture Plastics has installed a 950-ton Nissei FVX 860 “Hybrid” press to its existing injection molding line currently dedicated to supporting the power back-up industry. This press provides an intelligent Hybrid X-pump system with an electric servo drive and features energy reductions of up to 45% over a standard hydraulic machine. It also ensures advanced injection performance due to a direct pressure clamping system, and performs at a very low noise level. A Yushin robot complements the press for additional automation efficiency and consistency.
For more than four decades, Venture Plastics, Inc. has provided customers with high quality technology and services that include: engineering and design support and project management, injection and structural foam molding, over-molding, insert molding, gas-assist molding, decorating, plating, assembly, welding, plus expertise in a wide variety of engineered materials with UL traceability.
In addition to Venture Plastic Inc.’s 45,000 square foot Newton Falls, Ohio plant, the company operates Southwest Venture Plastics: a 48,000 square foot operation established in El Paso, Texas in 2006 to meet product, cost and freight-related needs of major customers.
