Trinseo Announces Closing of Initial Public Offering and Full Exercise of Underwriters’ Option to Purchase Additional Shares

BERWYN, Pa – June 17, 2014 – Trinseo (NYSE: TSE), the global materials company and manufacturer of plastics, latex and rubber, today announced the closing of its initial public offering of 11,500,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of $19 per share. The number of ordinary shares issued at closing included 1,500,000 shares for the underwriters’ over-allotment option. Trinseo received approximately $197.3 million of proceeds from the offering, net of underwriting fees and estimated expenses. All of the ordinary shares were offered by the Company.
