On 8 April 2013, Reifenhäuser Kiefel Extrusion, based in Worms, broke new ground in the sector by launching a spare part web shop for blown film lines.

Effective immediately, registered customers can place orders for over 1,000 different spare parts for EVOLUTION, KIRION and FILMTEC equipment. The assortment includes parts for extruders, dies, winders, take-off systems, motors and gearing, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and small parts for daily use. The number of parts available will continue to expand.
Finding the right spare part has been made simple. Customers can choose to browse images of the items or search using the material or drawing numbers. But web shop customers do not have to do without expert assistance: If unsure about the spare part needed, customers can specify in the order process that they would like to have a service professional double check the item.
Karl Häusler, Manager of Service at Reifenhäuser Kiefel Extrusion, notes: “The web shop is not meant as a replacement for personalized assistance; it is the logical next step in expanding our available services. Our web shop compliments our hotline and e-mail services as an additional, very convenient way to order spare parts. This new service will be of particular interest for customers in other time zones and for customers who already know which spare parts they need.”

In addition to the option of placing orders, visitors to the web shop will also find an overview of all the divisions of Reifenhäuser’s Quality Service, along with a list of contacts, as well as the latest technological solutions from Reifenhäuser Kiefel Extrusion. All of the information is available in German and English.
