PET bottle resin notations rose in March on higher feedstock, the newsletter Plastics Information Europe ( Bad Homburg / Germany; www.pieweb.com) says in a report now online. Contract prices settled out EUR 70/t higher, but short of producers’ EUR 100/t target. European demand remained weak, and there were no signs of an immediate turnaround. With no clear price trends, players see the outlook for April as very uncertain.
