DuPont Titanium Technologies, the world’s largest manufacturer of titanium dioxide, announced a new distribution agreement with Omya, Inc. Omya, through its subsidiary companies, will become a national distributor and represent DuPont Titanium Technologies’ products in all 50 U.S. states as well as Western Canada.
Omya, founded in 1884 in Switzerland, is a worldwide distributor of specialty chemical products focused on industrial and life science applications, as well as a leading global producer of industrial minerals, mainly fillers and pigments derived from calcium carbonate and dolomite. “We see an outstanding fit between Omya’s approach to the markets we serve together and expect that this partnership will improve our market position and better serve our customers in North America,” said Miren Salsamendi, North America director, DuPont Titanium Technologies.
