AMI, the renowned plastics consultancy, has recently reacted to market forces by delivering an exciting new addition to its comprehensive events portfolio.Performance Polypropylene, a new event covering polypropylene’s utilisation in automotive and appliances applications, is coming to the Maritim Hotel in Cologne, Germany this 11-12 April. The event will examine the latest advances in polypropylene resins and compounds for demanding technical uses in the automotive, electrical and appliances markets.
The programme features an international line-up of insightful speakers and industrial heavyweights including Nissan, Ford and Honda. Together they will explore how improvements in the properties and potential of polypropylene are accelerating the development of new applications.
Influential attendees at Performance Polypropylene 2018 will discuss new opportunities and innovations against a backdrop of key case studies from the diverse markets that the polymer serves. This advanced conference programme will also cover developments in a wide range of polypropylene chemistries, including the enablement of recyclable high-performance plastic.
This year’s conference will have a strong focus on other technological developments including an emphasis on how value can be added through increased strength and stability, in addition to a detailed look from the supplier level at how multiple companies are adapting to rapidly shifting OEM requirements. This insight will be provided in the form of focused sessions on innovations in additives for polypropylene and the latest formulation developments from compounders.
With important representatives from across the supply chain gathering at Performance Polypropylene 2018, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with the resin producers, compounders, plastics processors, product designers, and materials specifiers at OEMs and end-users that will help their organisations to thrive amongst increasingly tough competition.
In addition to these valuable speeches and thought-provoking discussions, there will be an accompanying exhibition with ample opportunities to connect with new organisations and familiar faces during the refreshments breaks, lunches and an evening cocktail reception.
