FELDKIRCHEN/DONAU (AUSTRIA). The Austrian based “Next Generation Recyclingmaschinen GmbH” manufactures Plastic Recycling Machines for the postindustrial and post-consumer markets. As part of their global expansion plans, NGR has opened a representative office in Taipei/Taiwan.
Taiwan‘s strong plastic industry. The Taiwanese plastic industry has been growing strong over the past few decades with a focus on quality second to none in the region. This in combination with increasing efforts towards environmental protection and resource-friendly operations, have made NGR´s choice to strengthen its position in this market an easy one.
Growing demand for plastic recycling equipment.Increasing costs of plastic resins in Taiwan have turned even plastic waste into a valuable resource. Industrial plastic processors are upgrading their in-house waste management facilities to enhance their plastic waste for further use in the primary process. Plastic post-consumer waste now more often finds its way to professional recycling-companies for re-pelletizing, instead of being incinerated or dumped on landfills. More and more Taiwanese manufacturers are appreciating the value gain from these rather new technologies.
Long term experience in Taiwan.New to the market, but with an insight on Taiwan. The representative office is being led by Mr. Martin Hehenberger, an Austrian citizen who has been living in Taipei since 2001. Mr. Hehenberger is fluent in Chinese and will utilize his long-term experience in Taiwan for NGR. The representative office is well situated in the heart of Taipei’s business district, a ten minute stroll away from the 101 Tower, the formerly tallest building in the world and landmark of Taipei.
