Ghent, Belgium – Additives for polyolefins expert Milliken will showcase innovations focused on the sustainability and product quality challenges of plastics processors and brand owners in the emerging and expanding markets of Eurasia at Plast Eurasia 2012.

With material replacement, energy savings and productivity high on the agenda, Milliken will present its pioneering, high transparency, clarifying agent for polypropylene (PP), Millad® NX™ 8000. The clarifier, offering outstanding optics and cycle time reductions, is opening new doors for the use of lightweight PP with a unique glass-like appearance in packaging applications. Milliken will also demonstrate the benefits of its Hyperform® nucleating agents: Hyperform HPN-600ei for better transparency, light weighting and PET / PS replacement in thermoforming; and opportunities to override the nucleation of pigments and maximize production and part quality, through the addition of Hyperform HPN-20E to injection molding grades.
