Lanxess announced that this year’s Mobility Days on various continents will kick off in Shanghai, China on September 6 with the theme “sustainable technologies for China’s future”.

The China Mobility Day will address technology innovation and new approaches to sustainable transportation in China, Lanxess said in a statement on July 23. 300 participants from industry, academia and associations are expected to join the event.

The event will start with a plenary session in the morning, featuring high-profile speakers who will discuss the latest topics and trends in green mobility. In the afternoon, a total of five break-out sessions on topics like green tires, lightweight materials or e-mobility will be open to the audience. At the same time, a green mobility exhibition will highlight the latest automotive technologies, green tires and advances in high-performance materials.

“Mobility related applications already account for our ten best selling products,” says Martin Kraemer, CEO Lanxess Greater China. “Our focus on Green Mobility is just one of the ways Lanxess is working to make this a greener, more liveable world. We are pleased to welcome our guests to join our China Mobility day to share many examples of the green technologies we are developing.”

The conference has gained full support from the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC) and the 21st Century Business Herald.
