KraussMaffei announced that an order is confirmed with Sweden-based Scandinavian Health Ltd (SHL) Group during CHINAPLAS 2013.SHL bought one of KraussMaffei’s exhibit, a CX 200-750 injection molding and reaction process combined machine for production of high quality surfaces in one shot, and an additional 10 CX machines for its manufacturing plants in Taiwan.
“With the CX series of machines, we have further enhanced reliability and continue to consistently produce high-quality components for the medical and healthcare industry worldwide,” emphasizes Roger Samuelsson, CEO SHL Group. “Our goal is zero error tolerance, a goal that our partners must share with us. KraussMaffei is a preferred while excellent partner for us.”
At present more than 130 KraussMaffei CX machines are producing medical devices at several SHL plants in Taiwan. The machines allow SHL Group to produce according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines, distinguished by high process reliability and exact repeatability of the single components during synchronized assembly methods.

SHL Group is said to be the world’s largest privately-owned designer, developer and manufacturer of advanced drug delivery devices, such as auto injectors, pen injectors and inhalers.
