At CHINAPLAS 2015, VDMA German Plastics and Rubber Machinery Association is going to promote its world class energy efficiency with a panel discussion and a table tennis match featuring renowned German player Timo Boll.
Representatives from leading German machinery suppliers will introduce the technological approaches to energy efficiency at the panel discussion on May 20. The list of speakers include: Dr. Karlheinz Bourdon (KraussMaffei Technologies GmbH), Helmut Heinson (Arburg GmbH & Co KG) and Joanne Shen (Coperion (Nanjing) Machinery Co. Ltd.).
Hosted by Thorsten Kühmann, Managing Director of VDMA Plastics and Rubber Machinery Association, the panel discussion will be in English with Mandarin interpretation service.
“What has table tennis got to do with energy efficiency?” One might ask. To be successful, world class table tennis players also use their energy efficiently, and they are always trying to improve.
A “ping pong diplomacy” will be organized on May 21 to preach the Blue Competence initiative of VDMA, as renowned German player Timo Boll will play a table tennis match with two rising Chinese players.
