Richmond-based Starmark Funeral Products is moving to a larger production facility. The
company says the move will let it expand into new product lines and add up to 15 positions.
Richmond, Ind. Vandor Corporation President Gerald Davis announces plans to relocate Starmark Funeral Products operations to a larger production facility in Richmond, Indiana.
Starmark will move from a shared facility at 4251 W. Industries Road to a new dedicated 97,500 square foot facility in Richmond at 1620 Rich Road in August 2011. The move provides Starmark the necessary space to expand into new product lines and to make the current assembly even more efficient. The move also allows Vandor Corporation to expand its plastics injection molding operations. says Davis. New Starmark facility will be operational by the end of August 2011.
The move process completes in August and adds approximately 15 new positions at Starmark Funeral Products by late 2011. The larger building will provide Starmark with room to grow its current line of industry leading U.S. and International cremation and burial products. New products will be available to funeral homes shipped directly from Starmark or through U.S and Canadian casket distributors.
Starmarks parent company Vandor Corporation also grows. The vacated space at 4251 W. Industries Road will quickly fill with Vandors launch of multi-shot plastics injection molding operations. The addition of multi-shot plastic injection molding creates another 15 to 20 new positions at 4251 W. Industries Road in 2012.
