Fasti Koch GmbH, acquired last year by Koch-Technik, will be exhibiting its granulate dryers along Werner Koch Maschinentechnik
GmbH at Fakuma, which will be held in Friedrichshafen, Germany from October 18-22.
The compact Fasti ERD Xpert dryer is for low to medium throughputs, and functions from its position above the processing machine. The control module detects the container volume and configures all the necessary parameters automatically. Attached with a clip-on device, it is easy to be removed from the container. An integrated multifunction controller and automatic adjustment of the power and airflow systems guarantee the right compressed air and energy consumption.
With numerous interfaces (RS 485, RS 232, TTY and CAN-Bus), the Fasti ERD Xpert dryer can be integrated in all commonly available machine control systems. It is fitted with adaptors to allow the use of Koch conveying units.
Meanwhile, the Fasti ERD Micro is a compact and low-maintenance granulate dryer which has been developed specially for hygroscopic materials at very low throughput rates. The glass drying containers, which range in volume from 0.5L to 3L, can be fitted separately from the control module anywhere on the injection molding machine.
The integrated multifunctional controller provides information about all the operating data and includes a drying time monitor, a weekly timer and a conveyor control unit. This very compact dryer is equipped with comprehensive system accessories such as an air jet conveyor which delivers granulate automatically.
Fasti drying technology was acquired by Koch last year and the company continues as Fasti Koch GmbH under Koch’s management.
