As of the 1st August 2012, Sascha Hennig shall commence employment as European Business Manager for Rubber & Rubber Additives. Sascha Hennig, insider of the European Rubber industry, has long-standing and extensive experience in
this sector following his former assignment with a Rubber specialised distributor based in Hamburg, Germany. The recruitment of Sascha Hennig has been taken to justify Biesterfeld’s objective of consequently expanding the Rubber activities on European scale.
Over the past two years following the acquisition of SMPC in France, Biesterfeld Plastic extended systematically its activities in the field of Rubber and Rubber Chemicals across Europe. The expansion of a harmonised European product portfolio for both, Rubber Polymers and Rubber Chemicals, will be one of the key objectives of the new Business Manager´s rule. The existing structure of Biesterfeld´s Group affiliates across Europe will support to drive this expansion in future.
