German packaging group Klöckner Pentaplast, which says it is Europe’s largest producer of rigid PET films, is to invest £3 million to expand production at its Crumlin plant in Wales. The expansion, which comprises a new extrusion line and an extension to the existing building, is supported by the Welsh Assembly Government.
Start up is scheduled for late this year.
