Evonik to raise prices for carbon black pigments

Essen, the inorganic materials business unit of Germany’s Evonik Industries, will increase the prices of carbon black pigments by up to 9% from August 1, 2009.

Evonik is the world’s second largest producer of carbon black pigments (furnace carbon black, lamp black and gas black).
