The die casting machines made by Bühler are proof that ENGEL AUSTRIA’s expertise goes beyond plastics processing. ENGEL has been supplying the international technology firm with clamping units for 20 years – and has been nominated its Preferred Supplier 2011.

ENGEL has supplied almost 400 fully assembled and tested clamping units to Bühler in Uzwil/Switzerland since 1992. They are used in toggle lever and dual platen systems for aluminium and magnesium die casting in the clamping force range of 1,050 to 4,400 tonnes. The clamping units are manufactured at the ENGEL large-scale machine plant in the Austrian town of St. Valentin.
