Dr. Boy GmbH & Co KG, an injection molding machine manufacturer, displayed its Boy XS
and Boy 35E machines at CHINAPLAS 2011 last month. Both devices attracted a lot of interests, the company stated.
The Boy XS, the most compact model of Dr. Boy with a footprint of only 0.8sq m, was showcased. The machine has a clamping force of 100kN and operates with speed and precision. Dr. Boy stated that many visitors were interested in the machine because it was “Made in Germany”.
Besides the BOY XS, Dr. Boy also demonstrated the BOY 35 E, which produced watch casings from ABS. The company said visitors were particularly impressed with the machine’s extraordinary low noise level and high speed. These characteristics are mainly due to the servo motor pump drive, which allows for an efficient and energy saving continuous operation.
