Colorant Chromatics, a subsidiary of PolyOne Corporation and a specialist in coloring and formulating high-temperature polymers, announced in September its plans to expand production and service capabilities at its Shanghai, China facility. Enhancements will include new equipment for production of specialty color concentrates and formulations. Colorant Chromatics says these improvements will reduce lead times for customers as well as create a comprehensive, centralized sales and development facility to meet growing demand in China and the wider Asia Pacific region.
