The export of plastic products in China continues its strong momentum of growth this year.
According to statistics from China Customs, in November, the country’s plastic product exports amounted to 654,000 tons in volume and were worth US$1.78 billion.
In January to November, the respective figures climbed up to nearly 6.76 million tons and US$16.76 billion, representing a rise of 4.2% and 31.5% respectively.
Both figures have exceeded those in the entire year 2009, which were 6.56 million tons and US$14.4 billion respectively.
However, China’s export volume of plastic products in November was not the year’s peak so far. In July, China exported 700,000 tons of plastic products at a total value of US$1.76 billion.
