According to latest statistics of China Customs, in September the country recorded a trade surplus in injection molding machine (HS code
84771010), the first time since January.
China exported 3,644 units of injection molding machines at US$79.59 million during the month. Meanwhile, 520 units were imported at US67.47 million, resulting in a trade surplus of US$12.12 million. Also, it is worth noting that the unit import price was six times higher than the unit export price during the month.
From January to September, China exported a total of 19,424 units of injection molding machines at US$600 million, while imports totaled 5,916 pieces in volume and US$670 million in value. The cumulative trade deficit during this period was US$69.24 million.
