The design and manufacture of innovative thermoplastic bearing assemblies and technical molding solutions specialist BNL (UK) Ltd yesterday (Jul 2009) announced the appointment of Janicke Aitken as Business Development Director.
Aitken will be responsible for the new BNL Business Development and Product Development Teams.
Aitken’s responsibilities will include the newly formed Business Development team incorporating Sales, New Product Development, Customer Services, Marketing and the newly formed and expanded New Technology Center, encompassing technical and material research and development functions.
Aitken joined BNL as program manager in 2008 and has played a key role in defining the BNL strategy. The strategy is to build on existing expertise and experience to maximize opportunities in new and complementary product areas, such as gears and shafts, and expand further into new markets including India and China.
With extensive experience of managing large and diverse teams in a variety of industries including engineering, manufacturing, construction and IT, Janicke Aitken is now responsible for BNL’s advancement in sales and technology in order to maintain the company’s position as a market leader in plastic bearing solutions.
