Amaray Europe managing director Jamie Tinsley visited Downing Street recently to ask Chancellor George Osborne how the government can better support UK manufacturing.
During the visit, back in January, Tinsley had the opportunity to share with the Chancellor details of how new opportunities, development, investment, and engagement with the workforce is helping support the Amaray Europe “develop & diversify” drive.
They also discussed some of the challenges facing the plastics and packaging industry as a whole and how the government can better support UK manufacturing.
Tinsley said: “This was an excellent opportunity to discuss Amaray’s ongoing development and investment strategy along with positive plastic industry news and how the government can further support the industry.”
He added: “The information discussed was well received and a further summary of key industry data and how additional focus and support would help has now been shared.”
