The Laser Welding Division is gaining momentum. After expanding production facilities, the mechanical engineering company in Erlan-gen is now enlarging its distribution capacities.
Transmission laser welding has a great deal of potential, which also needs to be backed up by appropriate consulting services. The distribu-tion team is now supported by two experts with the recruitment of Thomas Eckert and Mario Gügel. Mario Gügel has experience in the assembly of new industrial installations as well as in their relocation – including industrial laser systems. He will strengthen the international customer acquisition and customer service activities, as well as assisting the LPKF branch office in the USA.
Thomas Eckert’s previous customer service experience was in the tech-nical field service team for the customers and distributors in Germany and Europe of a manufacturer of plastic butt-welding equipment. He will assist the German distribution team from his base in Hamburg, from where he will also provide customer support to clients in northern Europe.
