Wittmann Battenfeld has received an order for 14 three-component injection molding machines from geobra Brandstätter GmbH & Co KG at Fakuma 2012.
geobra Brandstätter, based in Germany, ordered 14 HM 65/210H/210V/210S three-component machines on the third day of the fair from the Austrian machine supplier. “The way the exacting customer demands were met in terms of quick mold change, compact design and user-friendliness of the machines tipped the balance in favor of Wittmann Battenfeld,” says Robert Benker, Technical Managing Director at geobra Brandstätter.
The multi-component machines, which will be used to produce parts of Playmobil figures, are to be installed at geobra’s Dietenhofen, Germany facility by the end of the first quarter of 2013. geobra Brandstätter is a long standing customer, notes Wittmann Battenfeld. 30 injection mold machines with integrated parts removal robots, conveyor belts and peripheral equipment for upstream and downstream processing have been delivered to the German processor in 2011.
