At Fakuma 2012 Sikora will showcase its measuring and control technology for quality assurance in hose and tube extrusion lines. Among them is the X-Ray 6000 Pro for the measurement of up to three material layers as well as the new X-Ray 6000 Basic, which is used for quality control of single layer products. Sikora says its measuring systems assure a continuous quality control to fulfill the required specifications regarding wall thickness, eccentricity, diameter and ovality.
Sikora will also present an additional innovative diameter measuring system, the Tiger Laser 6010 XY, with special focus on the combination of diameter measurement with lump inspection. According to the company, this gauge head is extremely precise and reliable in inspecting product surface for lumps and neckdowns. Optionally, the Tiger Laser 6010 XY can be combined with a device of the Ecocontrol-series to visualize detected faults. With the clear presentation hose and tube manufacturers can evaluate faults realistically. There is also the possibility to store the pictures with the processor system.
Diameter gauges on the basis of laser technology as well as two and three axis lump detectors for detection of faults on the product surface will be presented too, adds Sikora.
