- PYROPURE® ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF SALES & MARKETING DIRECTOR
PyroPure®, the unique, specialist waste technology company which uses a small scale process to destroy waste at source, has announced the appointment of Bob Kane as its Sales & Marketing Director.
Bob has more than 25 years in sales and engineering and a wealth of experience in the healthcare and care home sectors. Before joining PyroPure®, Bob was Head of Sales and Marketing for Kilfrost Ltd, a leading global supplier of De-icing and Anti-icing chemicals for the Aviation business. Prior to this, Bob was Head of Sales with Multitone PLC, a key strategic supplier of critical communications technology to the NHS and other private health firms as well as the growing care home business.
Bob has previously worked in the semiconductor business and held a number of engineering management and executive sales and marketing management positions with leading, global technology companies, such as Motorola, Eaton Corporation and Applied Materials Inc. Bob has worked across the globe with assignments in the United States and Europe. He has a proven track record of success in the selling and marketing of diverse technology products utilising both direct and distributed sales organisations.
Reporting directly to the CEO, Andrew Hamilton, Bob will be responsible for the sales and marketing of PyroPure®’s unique on-site waste management unit, which will launch commercially this autumn.

A PyroPure® unit is a self-emptying waste bin – about the size of a chest freezer – and can handle all types of organic waste.
It sanitises infectious and offensive waste leaving metal and glass for recycling and reduces most organic waste by 99% of its original volume. Hot water is generated and can be used for on-site heating and hot water systems. The process avoids the need for expensive collection and centralised treatment.
