Several European industrial companies are sponsoring research into bioplastics at the Ecole des Mines in Paris.
Nestlé, Schneider Electric, PSA, Arkema and l’Oreal are co-funding a Chair in Bioplastics, which includes six PhD theses. The research programme will study the properties of polymers derived from renewable resources, as well as their industrial application.
