Cities across the country are making their case to land a planned second headquarters for Amazon.
If Amazon decided to build its second world headquarters in Rochester, it would be like our community winning the PowerBall. That’s what former mayor and current president of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce Bob Duffy told us. Duffy wrote a letter to Amazon asking the company to consider moving here.
In this letter, Bob Duffy listed all the reasons why Amazon should build here. In it, there was one thing that I never knew existed. I wanted you to know about it because if Amazon comes here — and it’s a long shot — this could be one reason why.
