HP is set to demonstrate its latest technology driving the conversion of labels and packaging printing from analogue to digital at Labelexpo 2017.
Taking place 25-28 September 25-28 in Brussels, HP will showcase the HP Indigo’s with its GEM technology, enabling the application of fully digital graphic embellishments in one pass.
Developed with JetFX, GEM will enable streamlined production of digital spot and tactile varnishes, special effects, digital foils, and more.
The print leader will also demonstrate the capabilities of the HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press – what it describes as the industry’s ‘most productive narrow-web press’, along with the HP Indigo WS6000 series.
The HP Indigo 20000 Digital Press, with its mid-web format capturing new opportunities for digital flexible packaging, labels and sleeve applications, will also be on show.
HP Indigo Pack Ready coating, another solution in the Pack Ready ecosystem, enables the production of high-performance applications such as retort pouches.
HP Specialty Printing Systems (SPS) OEM partners will demonstrate desktop labelling solutions including an in-store environment experience.
