Israel-based producer of flame retardant (FR) masterbatches Kafrit for the building and construction industry has broadened its extensive flame retardant portfolio with a new range of halogen-free masterbatch products developed to meet the growing needs of the sector.
New masterbatches have been developed to be easily processed in thin-wall applications such as films, as well as in sheets and pipes. Suitable for both translucent and transparent articles, they have excellent UV stability and because of their efficiency can be dosed at low levels. They could be used as replacements of existing systems, as well as for new market opportunities.
The range of grades have been developed to meet specific industry standards in a range of materials for applications such as greenhouse films, construction applications, hoods and bubble films.
