SICK, one of the leading sensor manufacturers from UK, has introduced a new design of LED
designed to enable faster and more accurate quality control in the packaging industry, according to packaging today.
Pin-Point is said to deliver performance comparable to a short-range laser scanner and will improve detection reliability and the capacity to detect longer ranges in SICK’s LED-based photoelectric switches and photoelectric proximity switches.
They will detect much smaller objects, down to 1mm, and distances up to 500mm
