AMI, Bristol, 21st February 2014 – The programme has been announced for the AMI’s Masterbatch 2014 conference, which will take place from 24-26 June 2014 at the Andel’s Hotel in Berlin, Germany. The event has become well established as the regular international forum for the global masterbatch industry attracting over 200 attendees every year.
The market environment in Europe is turning a corner and is looking more positive than it has for several years. This will present great opportunities for companies who have come through the crisis years by carefully managing their costs and inventories, judiciously investing in new innovations and products, and understanding and meeting the needs of their customers. Tapping into customer needs and using it to grow and develop business will be a key theme for AMI’s 2014 Masterbatch conference.
The business forum will cover some exciting themes this year with fantastic speakers including Ms. Sophie Richter, Designer at BMW Group, Mr. Ahmed Habiba, Senior Marketing Manager at Johnson & Johnson, Mrs. Carola Seybold, Sales Director Pantone EMEA at X-Rite Pantone and Mr. David Hilton, Design Director at Motorcity Europe.
Other presentations will look at the latest trends in pigments and materials to give fresh insight into how to add value to products. The conference will also include updates on machinery with papers from Coperion, Leistritz Extrusionstechnick, F.LLI Maris and Gala Kunststoff und Kautschukmaschinen.
The conference will also provide a detailed analysis of the current European masterbatch market and AMI’s Research Director, Andrew Reynolds, will be presenting the role and future of the masterbatch industry.
In addition to delivering quality papers, Masterbatch 2014 also offers superb and cost-effective networking opportunities with its extensive table top exhibition area.
The event is sponsored by Columbian Chemicals Europa GmbH, Nubiola Inorganic Pigments, MCA Technologies GmbH and Gala Kunststoff- und Kautschukmaschinen GmbH.
