Element Material Technology has acquired US composites lab, Delsen Testing Laboratories, strengthening its position within the aerospace composites testing market.
Delsen, is based in Glendale, California.“The primes are focusing their R&D budgets increasingly towards composite materials,” notes Charles Noall, President and CEO of Element.
“As a result, the purchase of one of the most highly regarded composite testing laboratories in America marks a considerable step in Element’s strategy to become a market-leader in aerospace materials testing services, as well as the world’s largest dedicated materials testing provider.”
Delsen is Nadcap approved and holds a number of major aerospace prime approvals.“We envision Delsen becoming a ‘centre of excellence’ in aerospace composite materials testing,” Noall adds.
