At CHINAPLAS 2013, HEXPOL Compounding (Foshan), the Chinese subsidiary of Hexpol’s TPE family which also brings together Elasto and Müller Kunststoffe, will be presenting the latest developments in TPE compounds.On display will be material samples from Hexpol’s leading TPE brands: Dryflex, Mediprene and EPSeal, showcasing the array of properties and design possibilities their range has to offer.
Dryflex are available in hardness’s ranging from zero shore A to 65 shore D, they offer transparency, good compression set, abrasion and tear resistance, high-flow rates and adhesion to engineering thermoplastics including PP, PE, PA, ABS, PC, PS, PMMA, ASA and SAN.
Mediprene TPEs have been engineered to address the demands of the medical device industry. Representative grades have passed cytotoxicity tests according to ISO 10993-5 and biocompatibility tests according to USP Class VI. The materials are latex free and have also been classified as non-sensitizers.
