Innovative labelling machine designed by Sacmi Verona to be showcased at the Sacmi stand from 9th to 12th April
Is it possible to produce a labelling machine capable of managing high speeds, using any commercially available material and operating under the most demanding work environments? Well, if the producer is Sacmi Verona – the “pillar” of the Group’s Beverage Division, which has been providing complete turnkey solutions for beverage lines since 2009 – then the answer is a resounding “Yes!”
This technological gem – characterised by ultra-low maintenance costs and a cutting system with a 100 million label performance warranty – will be presented at the Djazagro fair (9-12 April 2013), the yearly event that brings together international players in the fields of food product processing and preservation, machines and equipment for bread and pastry-making, catering and, of course, drinks and packaging. The model on display will be an OPERA 200RF, equipped – just like its ‘cousins’ in the series – with innovative roll-fed technology that allows the label to be applied directly from a film roll.
The star of the Sacmi stand (n° 1E052), this labeller is the most evolved of the OPERA series. Conceived and developed in the Group’s R&D facility, it has several innovative design features such as the tension control system, the end-of-roll sensor and the digital label positioning check system: together, they ensure constant, optimal efficiency. It can handle containers of any shape or material, from PET to HDPE, from glass to aluminium. Solid and reliable, this machine has been designed to work a 3-shift day, seven days a week.
In addition to the cutting system warranty, the machine comes complete with a DIN 8782 warranty, guaranteeing high productivity standards. Ultra-low maintenance costs have been achieved thanks to the innovative lubricating system which extends the working life of the machine and its component modules.
