Automatik Plastics Machinery GmbH, a German specialist of palletizing technology, has recently delivered four underwater strand pelletizing systems to Uhde Inventa-Fischer AG, a Berlin-based engineering company, for a major customer in the European market.
The four horizontal lines are based on the M-USG 600 H underwater strand pelletizer, each with a throughput capacity of 3,200 kg/h. Each of the four systems includes a fluid-headed die head to melt the feed and extrude the strands, a horizontal strand guide section, the pelletizer, and a CENTRO 300 centrifugal dryer to remove process water from the cylindrical pellets. The four lines will be used to produce Polyamide 6 N.E.
