A single order for 14 injection moulding machines has been placed with Ferromatik Milacron in Germany by Hong Kong-based Hayco.
The first half of the order, comprising seven machines will be delivered this year to the company’s factory in Shenzhen, China where they will be used to produce and extend Hayco’s presence in areas such as liquid purification and dispensing.
Hayco has been in business for more than 25 years and today has a workforce of some 6,000. The company makes electro-mechanical products in several sectors, including oral and personal care, liquid delivery and purification, and household cleaning. Hayco has 200 injection moulding machines and a mould making facility which is developing the two-component technology for use on the Ferromatik Milacron machines. Hayco’s worldwide customers include companies such as Procter & Gamble and Wal-Mart.
