Marco, a Canadian supplier of extrusion and coextrusion systems for barrier and specialty films and sheet, including equipment for custom coating, winding, and web handling applications, announced yesterday (June 25) in NPE, the triennial plastics trade fair held in Chicago this week, that it has sold three PVC cling film lines to an unnamed processor located in the Middle East.
According to Macro, the first line is to be delivered near the end of the year and the other two are set to be installed in mid-2010. The lines will be dedicated to the production of PVC cling film for supermarket packaging of fresh meat and other foods. Each line has an output of 200 kg/h with a thickness of 9 microns.
