KraussMaffei has started selling used injection moulding machines on the internet. It has set up a secondhand machinery page on its own web site at www.kraussmaffei.com/bargainmachines and will also auction machines on eBay.
The machines for sale are laboratory and test machines, and the first three on its web page are a CX 35-180, a CX 110-380 with an LRX 100 linear robot, and a CX 250-2000 with an LR 150 linear robot.
The first eBay auction starts tomorrow and will be of three machines, a 2008-built CX 80-180 and a CX 65-180 and a CX 160-380, both manufactured in 2007.
Most of the machines can be shipped immediately. Buyers have the option of buying the used machine as is, or having KraussMaffei do a complete overhaul.
